Our story

In the heart of Hirafu

Located in the heart of Hirafu, Powder Room is the first-ever premium entertainment spot uniquely designed for experiential connoisseurs and international jet-setters. From intimate dinners, fashion shows and conferences to large receptions of 250 people, Powder Room creates the magically luxurious nights an unforgettable après-ski destination should have.

Our kitchen brings together Japanese tradition and French technique, built on the finest Hokkaido produce — Shirayuki oysters, Hokkaido scallops, uni, Kaluga caviar and Kuro wagyu. Dinner is served from 7PM, with special event courses on festive dates.

About our founder

Gary Leung

Inspired by the diverse culinary scene and energetic nightlife of Hong Kong, restaurateur and co-founder Gary Leung set out to create the most extraordinary gastronomic experience in Niseko.

Aside from Powder Room, he is the mastermind behind Ryunabe — the first-ever Canton hotpot restaurant in Niseko and a top-ranking restaurant since 2014, attracting celebrities, socialites and ski lovers from Asia and beyond every winter.
